E-mail - Copy e-mail from student UoB-mail to Gmail

These are typically relevant for students who have finished their studies but wants to store the e-mail they have received during their studies.
Start “Mozilla Thunderbird” from a UiB computer
Goto Tools – Account Settings
Choose «Add Mail Account…» from «Account Actions»
Insert your name, email and password – Click “Continue”
Choose «IMAP» (important) – Click «Done»
Sign in to your gmail account
Click «Tillat» (or accept)
Click «OK»
Mark all the mail you wish to copy/move
(You can mark one mail and then use ctrl + a to choose all the mails)
Right click on the mails you have marked – choose Copy To (or Move To) – Your gmail-account - Inbox
The mail will now be copied from your UoB-account to your gmail-account
